Last year Marc Jacobs's Fall collection was feminine, 50's inspired, embracing the small waist big skirted dresses....it was a very much girly, classy, and good girl collection.
This year, the models walked out on the run way at Paris fashion week with peaked caps, latex T shirts, plastic masks, handcuffs and clear pencil skirts. Marc also brought Kate Moss, Naomi, Amber and Carolyn back onto the run way, my favourite is Kate Moss in dominatrix boots and briefs inhaling a cigarette.
The whole collection portrays a strong and dominated woman, still very feminine but certainly not girly and not easy, almost unapproachable and definitely a woman who takes advantage of her freedom. There are still lines inspired by the 50's and 40's but definitely on the extreme side, the rebellious side.
I really love this new Louis Vuitton's woman, it inspires me to bring out my wild side that i rarely have the chance to express. It reminds me of classy hotel maid/high escort....it's wild, kinky and almost prohibited.
